Luxury Day Spa Rejuvenates
and Pampers with Natural Mineral Hot Springs Water Treatments.
History of Healing the Mind and Spirit in the Mineral Waters of
the the Bonneville Hot Springs It is recorded that over a century
ago Native American Tribes like the Rogue River, Chitcoe, Calapoi,
Kalamath, and Makah would travel to the waters of what is now
the Bonneville Hot Springs resort to drink and bathe in the waters
of the hot springs as a method of healing for their sick and elderly.
In 1882 a local store owner Thomas Moffet built the Cascade Springs
Hotel for people to vacation and began to sell the hot springs
water for 10¢ a bottle. People believed the water helped heal
those with kidney problems, dyspepsia, rheumatism, dropsy and
general debility. Now, over a century later the Bonneville Hot
Springs Resort uses this very same hot springs mineral water for
all spa treatments offered. VISIT
